British ConsulateTropical cyclone season in Samoa runs from November and lasts until April. There is no British diplomatic mission in Samoa and you would need to assistance you would need to contact the British High Commission in New Zealand for assistance.

Crime in Samoa is very low. Note also that in 2009 they changed to side of the road on which they drive however many of the cars in Samoa is still mixed. Note that homosexual acts in Samoa are illegal. You do not need a visa to visit Samoa as you can stay for 60 days. If you have come via a yellow fever country then you will need a Yellow Fever Certificate to enter Samoa.

Health care facilities in Samoa are adequate for routine medical treatment, but are limited in range and availability. Doctors and hospitals often expect immediate cash payment for health services. There have beenĀ  an outbreak of Chikungunya virus.
